Sponsorship
Since 1977, Air North has been committed to supporting the communities we serve. Through sponsorships, partnerships, and travel donations, we strive to contribute to initiatives that enhance quality of life, strengthen communities, and create opportunities for people to learn, grow, and thrive.
Our Spirit in Action program is a reflection of that commitment. Rooted in the North but reaching communities across Canada, the program supports projects and organizations that promote community wellness, prosperity, education, culture, and connection.
Spirit in Action manages sponsorship requests for both Air North, Yukon’s Airline and Chieftain Energy, with a focus on supporting non-profit fundraising initiatives, bringing valuable training and development opportunities to the Yukon, and providing prizes and travel support for large-scale fundraising events and community programs.
We are proud to invest in the people, organizations, and events that help make our communities stronger.

Funding Guidelines
We are not able to consider requests that include or are for;
- Trips, tours, conferences, and travel expenses for individuals,
- Initiatives that benefit only one or a few people,
- Religious organizations or events, unless they are engaged in a significant project benefiting an entire community,
- Advertising,
- For-profit or Government organizations,
- Programs or services outside of our six pillars,
- Third-party fundraising events, as we sponsor NGO directly,
- Political fundraisers or political related events,
- Activities that represent a risk to personal safety and wellbeing,
- Film, video, television and book productions,
- Cash donations.
Gifts In-Kind
Through our in-kind travel program, we support eligible organizations by providing Travel Certificates and Gift Certificates. These are often used as raffle or auction items, or to help offset the cost of travel for keynote speakers and special guests.
Each year, we receive a high volume of requests from many deserving organizations, and while we are truly grateful for the work being done across our communities, we are not able to support every application.
We appreciate your understanding, and we thank you for the important work you do. If we are unable to support your request at this time, please know it is not a reflection of your value or impact.
Helpful Tips
- Please send your sponsorship request 4-6 weeks in advance of your deadline (or sooner),
- Email submissions preferred. Please note the request deadline in the subject line. Mailed requests will have a slower response,
- We recommend groups travelling together to contact our Group Sales team here. They can offer you the best rates and service to fit your needs,
