Preffered Seats
Air North provides Preffered Seating on Boeing 737 aircraft.
Rows 1–3
For travellers who prefer the convenience of disembarking first, we have designated the first three (3) rows of our 737 aircraft as Preffered Seating.
- For safety reasons, travellers seated in row one (1) may not travel with a pet in cabin or service animal, or require the use of an oxygen concentrator or cylinder.
- In some cases, travellers may be reassigned to a different seat in order to accommodate those with disabilities, or travelling for medical reasons. If you are reassigned from a Preffered Seat for this reason, any seat selection fee paid will be fully refunded, and we will make every effort to provide the best available alternative seat.
Emergency Exit Row(s)
Emergency exit rows offer 39-inch seat pitch, considerably more than the generous 32-inch pitch that is present throughout the rest of the aircraft. Some regulations apply to travellers who wish to sit in an exit row;
- Must be 16 years of age or older on the day of travel,
- Must be willing and able to operate the exit in case of an emergency,
- Must be able to speak English or French for an emergency exit briefing and understand printed instructions on how to operate the exit,
- Must be able to receive the emergency exit briefing from the crew and to verbally communicate that information to other travellers,
- Must be able to visually determine if the exit is safe to open and have sufficient mobility, strength and dexterity to operate and dispose of the emergency exit (i.e. must be able to lift more than 20kg / 42lb),
- Do not require special handling or the use of a mobility aid or medical device,
- Do not require the use of an oxygen concentrator or cylinder,
- Are not travelling with a pet in cabin or service animal,
- Are not responsible for another person on the flight,
- Do not have a condition that might cause bodily harm by operating the exit,
- If an emergency exit row seat is chosen and our crew determine that the travellers presence in those seats could adversely affect the safety of other travellers or crew members during an emergency evacuation, they will be moved to another seat.
All other available seats on the aircraft may be selected for a fee at the time of booking, or selected free of charge 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time.
