Kamloops takes its reputation as the Tournament Capital of Canada seriously, with more than 100 tournaments held every year at venues like the Tournament Capital Centre and McArthur Island Park. Come summer, the Kamloopa Powwow brings together Secwépemc dancers, drummers, and artists from across the region for one of the largest celebrations of its kind in BC.
