1. Don't fly on Yukon Time.
At this time of year there are a lot of people travelling, which means lines are longer at check-in and security. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time for both by arriving at a minimum an hour before your flight – ideally two. Everything will fly by when you're relaxed!
2. We'll be ID-ing you. Even if you have white hair and a beard.
Make sure you bring your photo ID – your driver's license or your passport. Any travellers over the age of 18 require photo ID. The name on your ID must match the name on the boarding pass.
3. A gift is best unwrapped once.
By keeping your gifts unwrapped, you save security agents the hassle of unwrapping a gift they don't get to receive. As packages will need to be inspected in airport security, arriving with your packages unwrapped will keep the lines moving smoothly and keep you from wrapping your gifts twice! A great idea is to use gift bags to hold your presents.

4. Pack within your limits.
Keep our checked and carry-on baggage limits in mind as you pack. Full details are available at flyairnorth.com/baggage, and we strongly encourage you to read the information carefully to avoid overweight baggage fees.
5. Keep smiling – it's the holidays!
All airlines do their very best to stay on schedule (we all like to get home on time!) – but the weather can be unpredictable, and delays can occur. Bring something with you to keep you entertained – a good book, a deck of cards, your favourite tablet or MP3 player – just in case.
Safe travels and best wishes to you this holiday season from everyone at Air North, Yukon's Airline!
