The guardian at the point of departure will be required to fill out forms requiring information including the name, telephone number, and address of the guardians at the point of departure and arrival. The guardian picking up the child must show identification which matches this information in order to prove that they are the designated guardian.

Prior to check-in time, seat selection fees apply and vary based upon the fare that has been booked and the seat that is selected. However, seat selection is complimentary during online check-in, available from 24-hours prior to the scheduled departure time, or at the check-in counter.

If you’re having difficulties checking-in online, make sure that you’ve properly filled out the information required such as your booking confirmation number and spelling of first and last names. If you’ve double checked all the fields and are still experiencing problems, our call centre can help you through the process. 

Air North, Yukon’s Airline is required by the Government of Canada to verify the identity of any passengers who are 18 years of age or older, including those who appear 18 years of age or older. To do so, passengers will be required to show proof of identification at check-in and prior to boarding.

 

Before you leave for the airport, make sure your identification has not expired and that the spelling of your name matches your booking, otherwise we will be required to refuse boarding. Please contact us immediately if you discover that your name is misspelt on your booking.
