Introductory fares between Whitehorse, Yellowknife and Ottawa Announced

Air North, Yukon's Airline today unveiled introductory fares between Whitehorse, Yellowknife and Ottawa.

"We're very pleased with what we're able to offer passengers," said Joseph Sparling, Air North's President. "The fares are extremely competitive and offer our passengers incredible value."

Sample introductory one-way fares between Whitehorse, Yellowknife and Ottawa include:

  • $337 all-in from Whitehorse to Ottawa (one-way)
  • $358 all-in from Ottawa to Whitehorse (one-way)
  • $300 all-in from Yellowknife to Ottawa (one-way)
  • $321 all-in from Ottawa to Yellowknife (one-way)
  • $274 all-in between Whitehorse and Yellowknife (one-way)

The introductory fares are based on availability until 11:59pm PT on 2 January 2014, for travel between 6 February and 31 May 2014.

"We've connected Whitehorse and Yellowknife for the first time in years," said Allan Moore, the airline's Director of Commercial Development and Government Relations. "We've connected both with Ottawa, something that's never been done before. And we've done both with affordable fares, two pieces of checked luggage and a light meal – not to mention our authentic Yukon hospitality and service. We think passengers are going to love these new flights."

Air North also announced its Boxing Day Sale, offering 15% off base fares on flights between Whitehorse, Vancouver, Kelowna, Calgary and Edmonton – for travel between 6 February and 31 May 2014. The sale ends at 11:59pm PT on 2 January 2014.
